Created in small batches, Candela’s collection of body treatments are designed to replenish the minerals and nutrients depleted by daily stress and pollution. With a focus on ingredient sourcing from organic farms that implement permaculture practices, Candela provides the highest quality ingredients in concentrations that nourish and revitalize.

The Joule treatment begins with our signature foot ritual as a welcoming gesture, followed by dry body brushing and Himalayan salt exfoliation to purify and soften the skin. This is followed by an indulgent massage using a nourishing retinol cream that’s formulated with aloe vera and green tea extract to maintain its highly delicate level of effectiveness. Warm volcanic stones assist to penetrate tired, aching muscles. As a finishing touch, a gentle facial cleanse and soothing scalp massage allows you to relax and unwind.

BLISSFUL RITUAL

This decadent treatment begins with a double body exfoliation using a body brush, followed by a shea butter and blue green algae polish. You’ll then enjoy a relaxing scalp massage while a powerful, detoxifying algae wrap works to eliminate toxins. After a refreshing shower and a full-body massage with choice of aromatherapy oil, you will leave feeling revitalized with a sense of well-being.

This holistic treatment combines nurturing and relaxing elements from ancient Chinese and Ayurvedic healing traditions. The service begins with our signature foot ritual followed by a continuous Shirodhara oil pour over the forehead to the third eye, transporting the body into a deep state of relaxation. An Abhyanga massage with warm coconut oil opens muscles and joints, while long strokes relieve built-up tension and stress. The experience concludes with facial gua sha, a sculpting technique used to decrease neck and shoulder pain and inflammation.

This indulgent treatment for new moms is designed to improve blood circulation and restore the body to its pre-pregnancy state. The treatment starts with a full-body, dual exfoliation with a dry brush and a coconut oil sugar scrub to stimulate nerves and blood supply. This is followed by a full-body massage incorporating lymphatic drainage to release toxins. A belly mask with a powerful blend of kaolin clay, bentonite clay, and beet root powder is then applied to help even skin tone and increase firmness and elasticity. Spa Guidelines

For the most relaxing experience, we recommend arriving one hour prior to your scheduled service time to unwind and enjoy our spa amenities before your treatment.

Please note: Express Facial Bar, waxing, and brow appointments do not include amenity access. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment for check-in to ensure you receive your full treatment time.

Cancellation Policy

A 100% charge will be incurred for any treatment not cancelled within 24 hours of your scheduled time. A late arrival will result in a shortened treatment time.

Spa Etiquette

Our spa environment is one of relaxation and tranquility. To respect all spa guests’ right to privacy and serenity, the spa is a phone-, camera- and smoke-free zone.

All prices are quoted in $USD and are subject to change at any time. For your convenience, a 23% gratuity will be added to your final bill.

Minors Policy

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to access the spa facilities and receive treatments. With parental consent, Express Facial Bar services are offered to guests 13 or older.

This service is available to guests upon request within a limited-mile radius. We kindly ask for at least 48-hours notice.

We have specially designed treatments for expectant mothers. Please allow our spa team to guide you in selecting treatments that are right for you.

Valuables

The Spa at The Joule accepts no responsibility for loss of valuables and jewelry.

Lost Property

All lost property found on the premises will be stored for 30 days. If items are not collected within this time frame, they will be donated to local charities. Liquids, under garments, and hairbrushes are kept for 24 hours only.

Post-Treatment

Express facials are designed to be non-invasive with no downtime, allowing you to resume daily activities immediately. While you can apply makeup immediately after the facial, we advise a few hours of letting the skin breathe. For optimal results, we recommend scheduling a facial every 2-4 weeks as a part of your skincare routine.
